Department of Clinical Diagnostics was established April 16, 1966, as part of Veterinary Hospital. The first Head of the Department was Dr. Zofia Markiewicz. In 1970, the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostic joined to the structure of the Institute of Noninfectious Diseases.
