  • development and validation of methods for the quantitative analysis of small molecule chemotherapeutics (mass below 2000 Da) using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with light detection and/or tandem mass spectrometry,
  • preparation and isolation of low molecular weight chemotherapeutics (mass below 2000 Da) from biological and non-biological material,
  • quantitative analysis of small molecule chemotherapeutics (mass below 2000 Da) in biological and non-biological material,
  • pharmacokinetic studies of drugs used in veterinary medicine, including tetracyclines, quinolones, NSAIDs, antiparasitic drugs,
  • pharmacokinetic interactions at the absorption level,
  • determining the adsorption of drugs on filters used in renal replacement therapy in humans,
  • pharmacokinetic studies of antimicrobial chemotherapeutics used in humans.

  • determination of trace amounts of selected elements (mainly metals), e.g. Cd, Pb, As, Cu, Zn, Se, Cr in liquid, solid and gaseous samples and determination of trace amounts of Hg in solid, liquid and gaseous samples without the need for prior mineralization of the sample
  • mineralization of biological material (e.g. animal tissue)
  • determination of the biological effects of pesticides and their interactions both with each other and with other xenobiotics (e.g. metals, drugs),
  • analysis of the influence of pesticides, drugs and metals on the body's antioxidant system,
  • determination of concentration and activity of selected antioxidant elements, e.g.; superoxide dismutase activity, catalase, glutathione reductase, glutathione peroxidase and total oxidative status (TAS) activity,
  • the concentration of vitamin A, C and E and the malondialdehyde (MDA) as a markers of lipid peroxidation.

  • enzyme tests, e.g. aceticocholinesterase (AChE) activity in the blood and brain as a biomarker of exposure to organophosphate insecticides
  • testing the activity of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) as markers of hepatotoxic activity
  • determination of the activity and content of selected parameters of the body's antioxidant barrier, eg; superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione reductase, glutathione peroxidase activity and total oxidative status (TAS) activity
  • determination of malondialdehyde (MDA) content as a marker of lipid peroxidation
  • extracting poisons from biological material,
