LABORATORIES

Fluorescence microscopy laboratory, equipped with:
•    An Olympus BX51 fluorescence microscope;
•    Zeiss motorized Axioimager optical microscope, equipped with a cooled Axiocam HRm monochrome camera, a cooled MRc5 color camera and an Apotome fluorescent structured lighting system;
•    Carl Zeiss Stemi 508 dissecting microscope;
•    Microm cryostat model HM 525 and Leica CM 1520

Western Blotting Laboratory which is equipped with:
•    XCell SureLock™ Mini-Cell Electrophoresis System (Invitrogen), with a module for wet protein transfer and power supply;
•    iBlot Dry Blotting System (Invitrogen) – dry transfer blots proteins from polyacrylamide gels to membranes;
•    Safe Imager™ 2.0 Blue Light Transilluminator (Invitrogen);
•    The BenchPro® 4100 Card Processing Station (Invitrogen) -  a device for automatic washing, blocking and applications of the primary and secondary antibodies;
•    The Qubit® 2.0 Fluorometer (Invitrogen) -  fluorometer to quantitative analysis of DNA, RNA and proteins.

Smooth muscle contractility testing laboratory, equipped with:
•    Four-channel system for analyzing unstimulated contractility of smooth muscles of the walls of blood vessels, urinary bladder and uterus (Radnoti Tissue Organ Bath Systems);
•    PowerLab 16/35 with 16 analog input channels (4 of which can be used in differential mode), 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs and a 400 kS/s ADC providing a maximum sampling rate of 200 kS/s per channel;
•    Digital circulation pump.

ELISA laboratory, equipped with:
•    Well Wash microplate washer (Thermo Scientifc Wel lwash 1x8 IVD) UV-VIS;
•    Plate-cuvette spectrophotometer (Thermo Fischer Scientific)

Additionally, this workshop is equipped with:
•    Ultra freezer by Sanyo, model MDF- 453 V;
•    Laboratory centrifuge (Eppendorf), model Mini Spin Plus;
•    Mechanical homogenizer by IKA, model T10 Basic;
•    Laboratory shaker by Heidolph, model Relax Top;
•    Laboratory scales by Ohaus, model Adventurer Pro AV114

Moreover, the Department of Clinical Physiology owns:
•    Incubator CO2  (Memmert) model INCO 2;
•    Class II laminar chamber (ESCO);
•    High frequency surgical device designed to cut and coagulate (ERBE) model VIO 300 S;
