International collaboration
The Faculty collaborates with many scientific centers in Poland and abroad. In the area of education, the Faculty participates in the ERASMUS student exchange program. It concludes research agreements with foreign universities and participates in international research projects.
Student exchange
As part of its commitment to academic excellence, the Faculty cooperates with foreign universities and participates in EU-funded programs, including the ERASMUS student exchange scheme. By enabling students to participate in academic programs in other countries, the Faculty significantly contributes to the internationalization of higher education. The UWM in Olsztyn has concluded numerous student and staff exchange agreements as part of the ERASMUS program. At present, the Faculty collaborates with universities in Giessen, Madrid, Lugo, Gent, Helsinki, and Afyon.
Collaboration agreements
The Faculty has signed bilateral agreements with the Saint Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine, University of Giessen, University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, and Technical University of Lisbon. A number of academic collaboration schemes without framework agreements have also been initiated with universities in Antwerp, Gent, Arhus, Utrecht, Leipzig, and Okayama, the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover, Iowa State University (Ames), Montana State University (Bozeman), and Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge (Louisiana). These programs enable scientists from different countries to work on collaborative research projects and publish research articles in renowned scientific journals. Many of the Faculty's employees are members of international scientific societies and organizations.
